Sculptor John B Green Announces 2025 Exhibition Schedule Featuring Wood and Bronze Works
Franklinton, LA – April 22, 2025 – Artist John Green announced a series of exhibitions and festival appearances throughout 2025, showcasing unique sculptures combining natural wood elements with custom-cast bronze, often featuring wildlife themes like birds of prey.
Green's work will be featured in prestigious curated shows, national symposiums, and major art festivals across Louisiana, Minnesota, and Texas.
The schedule kicks off in May with an invited appearance:
May 3-4, 2025 (Sat-Sun): Baton Rouge Art League Annual Art Exhibition
Location: LSU Rural Life Museum Visitor Center, 4560 Essen Lane @ I-10, Baton Rouge, LA
Details: Green was invited to participate in this limited and highly curated show. The featured piece will be BOP-054, a Mesquite wood and custom-cast bronze sculpture titled "Always Alert."
In addition, John Green will be participating in the following exhibition:
April 12 - May 20, 2025: Member Gallery, St. Tammany Art Association, 320 N. Columbia St, Covington, LA 70433
Following this, Green will participate in two major woodturning symposiums:
June 13-15, 2025 (Fri-Sun): American Association of Woodturners (AAW) Annual National Symposium
Location: Saint Paul RiverCentre, Saint Paul, MN
Details: Green will exhibit a wood wing and cast bronze eagle sculpture within the symposium's instant gallery, which features over 1,000 woodturning pieces.
August 22-24, 2025 (Fri-Sun): SWAT - Southwest Association of Woodturners Annual Symposium
Location: Waco Convention Center, 100 Washington Ave, Waco, TX
Details: Three eagle sculptures by Green will be on display in the instant gallery alongside over 900 other woodturning works.
Concluding the confirmed schedule, Green will be a featured artist at a popular regional festival:
November 15-16, 2025 (Sat-Sun): Covington Three Rivers Art Festival
Location: Downtown Columbia Road, Covington, LA
Details: Green will have a dedicated 10x20 booth showcasing an extensive collection of 15 to 20 wood and cast bronze sculptures.
